Christina Wallace

I am the Director of Startup Institute New York (launching June 2013!). Previously I was the founding CEO of Quincy, a management consultant for BCG, an arts manager at the Metropolitan Opera, and a freelance theater director and classical musician in the Atlanta area. I hold undergraduate degrees in mathematics and theater studies from Emory University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Originally from Lansing, Michigan, I enjoy writing, photography, yoga, and solo travel. Thanks to a life-long love of music, I sing with an a cappella group called NYC#.  I'm also pleased to serve on the Young Executive Board of Camp Interactive and the Alumni Board of Interlochen Center for the Arts. (And despite a childhood as a fat kid, I'm an amateur triathlete and long-distance runner, but don't ask my finishing times...)

An avid writer, I wrote a chapter of Passion and Purpose, published by Harvard Business Press, as well as guest posts for the Detroit Free Press, Forbes, and Women 2.0. Recent speaking engagements include SXSWi 2013, Harvard Business School Women Student Association Conference, NYU Stern Women in Business Conference, and HerCampus National Conference, among others.
